Board of Directors Update

The Board just wrapped up a ‘marathon’ of meetings and I am excited to share with you a little of our work.   “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity” (Psalm 133:1)!

It was good and pleasant to share some “life on life” together!  It is our custom to meet the opening night to turn to God’s word and turn to Him in prayer.  This is an important time to pray for each other, our families and the ministries entrusted to each of us back home!

It was also so good to hear from all our staff! The Lord is certainly keeping them busy with Kingdom work in our priorities of church development, church multiplication and conference care! How pleasant it was to hear from each of them, and our conference minister, on the exciting developments, strides forward, along with the challenges and further opportunities to strengthen and encourage our member Ministers and Churches.

The board had a very full agenda! There are some exciting developments that have been in the works for some time, and God, in His perfect timing, has brought them together! One of the sure signs of the Holy Spirit’s working is “unity”. And the unity amongst our board, is nothing short of miraculous! To say that we were ‘on point’ when it comes to our ministry priorities and 7 Guiding Values, is not an exaggeration.   Please keep your eyes and ears open, as we begin to share with you exciting developments in our next steps forward as a Conference of biblical congregationalist!

Please keep our conference, her staff and Board in your prayers. And please consider, how you can serve one another, as opportunities to the broader body of Christ emerge. The Holy Spirit is on the move, and we want everyone to be a part of His work in the life of our Conference!
