Modern Day Pilgrims: The History of the CCCC

Join us for a virtual discussion with Rev. Dr. Ron Hamilton and Rev. Alwyn York, editors of a new two volume edition of Modern Day Pilgrims: The History of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference published in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference.

The first volume, Modern Day Pilgrims: A Proud Heritage was first published in 2000 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. It tells a multi-dimensional history of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference and the diverse origins of the churches which founded it. This current volume is a revised and updated version of the original book intended to make the information available to a new generation.

The second volume, Modern Day Pilgrims: A New Generation tells the story of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference in the quarter century since the 50th Anniversary of the Conference in 1998. It presents the new ministry initiatives and changes in the structure of the Conference that took place in those years.

The event is free to all, but registration is required via congregationallibrary.org.
