CCCC MICRONESIA MINISTRY COMMITTEE

The CCCC Micronesia Ministry is growing! In 2022 five instructors lead classes both on the islands and in continental USA. Four more are ready to provide training in 2023. We have been able to improve communication with the USA churches thus allowing us to increase the number of training sessions per year.

This is a unique ministry for several reasons. First is that it is a cross-cultural ministry which is both a homeland as well as an international ministry of the CCCC. Secondly it is one where small, short-term teams can effectively minister without leaving the USA. The length of ministry ranges from a long weekend, Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, to three weeks, if travelling to the islands. By incorporating a 10-day instruction period, we are able to conduct two classes per visit, one theological and a second on practical ministry skills. For the first half of 2023 there are eight courses being planned for Micronesia churches in Denver, CO, Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Kansas City, MO, Neosho, MO, Killeen, TX, and Portland, OR.

With these positive developments a new challenge arises. The CCCC Micronesia Ministry account has dropped significantly over the past year and there are inadequate financial resources to conduct the training classes. The Micronesian Ministry Committee is praying that CCCC churches and members would prayerfully consider adopting a Micronesia Ministry church by praying, giving and serving.
