Church Development – Coach Training Update

The last week of November, we held another CCCC Comprehensive Church Development Coach Training
in Orlando, Florida. Ten gathered for full certification in the Natural Church Development (NCD) Survey and preparation to coach our CCCC pastors and churches through both our TurningPoint Initiative and the wider Church Development Process.

We are so grateful for our partnerships with NCD International and NCD America. Dr. Petr Činčala was with us again for both the training and introduction to new resources and materials that will be a blessing to our churches. I was joined by Ron Hamilton and Todd Venman in leading these CCCC pastors and leaders through coaching best practices, role play and resourcing.

Participants were grateful. President Alvin Helms attended the training, saying, “The CCCC is investing a lot in us as pastors. Even as a guy who’s been in ministry a long time, I learned a lot.” We plan to do another training event in 2023. The CCCC Church Development Team now has over 40 trained coaches, distributed across the nation to help our local pastors and churches increase their ministry fruitfulness, even during these very different times in which we now live.
