Surge of Interest in NC Region

There has been a surge of interest and recent activity in the CCCC in the state of South Dakota in recently. Churches from Huron, Scotland, and Parkston were received as member churches at the 2019 Annual Gathering in St. Paul.  Rev. Michael Hecht from Menno, SD was recently appointed as the Area Pastor for South Dakota. 

South Dakota churches are rejoicing in the recent installation of two pastors!

On August 16th, Brian Held was installed as the new pastor at Huron Congregational Church. The church had been searching for over a year for a pastor and the Lord brought Brian to them.  Brian has over 20 years’ experience in the K-12 School Superintendency ministry.  He has recently been involved as a supply pastor for churches in the region. The Installation Service was a great time of rejoicing for Brian and his family, the church, and the community.

On September 13th, Scotland Community Church in welcomed Pastor Brian Beck from PA to be their new pastor. Scotland Community Church has also been searching for a pastor for over a year. Brian has a number of years in pastoral church ministry and is happy to be ministering in Scotland. The installation service was a great joy followed by a church pot-luck dinner. It was a time of celebration for the church, the community, and for Brian.
