CCCC Financial Faithfulness
We have seen God’s faithfulness as we are faithful to be good stewards. Sue Drehmel, CCCC Treasurer reported that we are under budget in regards to expenses so far this year. We rejoice in the faithful stewardship of our staff. We also rejoice in those who through God’s leading have given generously to the conference.

We have been in much prayer about repaying the restricted funds once borrowed against. With faithful stewardship and generous gifts we have seen the repayment reduced to approximately $70,000.00. We continue to clean up the legal work on certain funds which will help settle some of the indebtedness.
Clifton Larson Allen have completed the Audit.

We have made some significant strides as reported in the audit. This progress has provided more time for staff and board for focus on ministry. We praise God for these efforts and progress that has been made.

The Position Paper on Biblical Marriage
After months of prayer and work the Biblical Marriage Position Paper is ready for review. We are grateful to those who spent countless hours editing and revising this work.

Our heart was to reflect God’s heart on how He designed marriage. We wanted to share what God stands for and therefore what we as a conference stand for. The enemy is quick to change definitions of words to cause confusion and stir strife. We strove to share hope with words that point to the genuine love of Jesus Christ our Righteous Judge.

The review period lasted through June 1st 2017. Many of you supplied comments. With limited time and much to cover during our business sessions at the Annual Gathering we appreciate your cooperation to give your input before our meetings convene.

The Annual Gathering Pittsburgh 2017 is fast approaching.
The Annual Gathering Committee gave a full report on the preparations for the upcoming Annual Gathering. Registrations are high at this point in time. We anticipate a large attendance at this Annual Gathering so please get your registration in early to reserve a spot at the hotel. Early Registration which provides a discount on registration costs closed on June 15th, but you can still register and plan to attend.

The Annual Gathering Committee is working to secure venues for the next few years. Under Don Elher’s leadership we often worked three years in advance. Due to changes in volunteers and attention to the direction God has given we haven’t been able to keep up this pace . We now have volunteers in place to begin that advanced work. Early planning helps us to find better venues and more reasonable options.
