Online Open Forum – Centerpoint: A Biblical Congregational Conference
A special announcement was recently shared with CCCC members about a proposed name change for the Conference. President, Scott Nice, and Conference Minister, Ron Hamilton will host an online Open Forum to discuss the potential name change on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 7:00 PM Eastern.
The format for the meeting will be, as follows:
- Welcome
A brief time to welcome the participants and open in prayer.
- Overview of the timeline for developing this proposal
A review of the process that led to the proposed name change. This will take us from Ron Hamilton’s message at the 2022 annual gathering, through the Board process, to the introduction of proposed name change in April 2024.
- An explanation of the process for consideration of this issue at the AG
An explanation of how the matter will be addressed at the 2024 annual gathering. There will be another open forum and a complete business session dedicated to the matter.
- Q & A time
An opportunity for people to ask questions about the proposed name change and the process moving forward. We will make an effort to give all participants the opportunity to speak about this matter.
