Church Development Comes to New England
John Kimball, Director of Church Development/Nehemiah Nexus
The Church Development Team is bringing our all-day intensive, Making Disciples: Key to Developing Your Church, to New England this October. We will offer the seminar on Thursday, October 19th during this year’s Nehemiah Conference at Lighthouse Fellowship in Quincy, MA.
This intensive is the first step in our overall church development process. It’s a great overview for pastors and laity alike. And it provides a “50,000-foot view” of all eight stages of the process your church would work through. We look at the life cycle of too many churches today, giving you the opportunity for a quick self-assessment of your congregation’s ministry. We talk about the heart of disciple making, growing disciples through our personal spheres of reference, building fruitful disciple making relationships, obstacles we encounter, and more.
The intensive will be on-site only (no online component), from 9am to 4pm. We encourage church leadership teams to come together where possible. The cost is $100, which includes all the materials and lunch. Preregistration is required, and there is a $30 discount for those who register before 9/30/23. We look forward to working with you.
