Board of Directors Meeting Report
SCOTT NICE, CCCC VICE PRESIDENT
One of the greatest privileges of serving on the BOD is sharing “life on life” with the CCCC staff and board! This ministry takes place before, during and after our scheduled meetings. It is a great opportunity to “bear each other’s burdens” (Gal. 6:2), as well as comfort and encourage each other.
The life-giving experience does not end when the gavel falls. Our Guiding values of intercessory prayer, healthy pastors/healthy churches are put on full display as we conduct the business of your Conference. This is not only my own observation, but also the observation of others!
Pastor Bob Tolson, from Fort Morgan, CO says, “The gathering of the CCCC BOD is such a spiritually refreshing time of fellowship. We have reason for boundless hope for our future”! Pastor TJ Turner from Woodbury, MN comments, “I’m always encouraged by the fellowship, faith, and humility that characterizes the CCCC BOD Meetings. If the leadership reflects the Conference, then we should all be encouraged by what Christ is doing in the CCCC”. Pastor Peter Balentine, one of longer serving Board members, shared this, “Serving on the BOD has been such a privilege! From this vantage point we see how the Spirit is working across the USA in our Churches. It has been so exciting to see God’s continued provision as we have stepped out in faith, especially in the area of funding for our Regional Pastors”.
Please continue to pray for the BOD as we follow God’s leading, serving, laboring and striving together in love, for His Kingdom.
