Church Health Summit with Christian Schwarz

Our ministry of Church Development is sponsoring a Church Health Summit with Dr. Christian Schwarz on September 12 – 13, 2022 in Chicago, IL. Dr. Schwarz is the founder and developer of Natural Church Development (NCD). The CCCC has a partnership with NCD and actively uses this church health tool throughout its ministry. This gathering is open to the CCCC family, but we especially encourage all those who have been through our NCD Coach Training to join us. It’s a special opportunity. “Our partnership with NCD has been such a blessing to the Conference. And the fact that we offer this assessment to our member churches at our cost is also huge,” says CCCC Director of Church Development, John Kimball. The CCCC now has trained NCD coaches from our own Conference family across the country.

The focus of the sessions will be on the concept of the Trinitarian Compass, a guiding principle of NCD. The CCCC Statement of Faith includes this statement, “We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.” Dr. Schwarz says that “drawing closer to the living God” brings health to a church and releases an “all by itself” growth with God as the source of the power.
